Daywise Tour Itinerary

On arrival at Dimapur Airport or Railway Station, meet your driver-guide and begin your journey to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. On reaching Kohima, visit the historic Kohima War Cemetery, a serene memorial dedicated to World War II soldiers. Continue to the Nagaland State Museum to learn about tribal traditions, artifacts, and history.

Later, check in to your hotel. Evening free to relax or explore nearby areas.

Overnight stay: Kohima

After breakfast, proceed to Khonoma Village, India’s first green village, known for eco-friendly practices, forest conservation, and Angami Naga culture. Walk through terraced fields and traditional homes while enjoying views of surrounding hills.

Later, visit Kisama Heritage Village, the venue of the famous Hornbill Festival. The village showcases traditional houses of different Naga tribes and offers insight into their customs and lifestyle. Return to Kohima by evening.

Overnight stay: Kohima

After breakfast, explore the beautiful Southern Angami villages. Visit Kigwema Village, one of the oldest Angami settlements, known for stone memorials, wooden houses, and community structures reflecting traditional village life.

Continue to Mima Village, famous for its underground beehives and natural rock honey. The village is also known for its stone monoliths, each carrying stories of the village’s past. Return to Kohima by evening.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Imphal, the capital of Manipur. On arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up.

Later, visit the sacred Shree Shree Govindajee Temple, an important center of Vaishnavite culture. After that, explore Ima Keithel (Mother’s Market), Asia’s largest women-run market, where you can shop for local handicrafts, textiles, and fresh produce.

Overnight stay: Imphal

After breakfast, head out to explore Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India, famous for its floating islands (phumdis). Visit Sendra Island for panoramic views of the lake.

Later, visit Keibul Lamjao National Park, the world’s only floating national park and home to the endangered Sangai deer. Return to Imphal by evening.

After an early breakfast, drive to Moreh, the Indo-Myanmar border town. Experience the lively atmosphere of the border area and visit Namphalong Market, where traders from both countries sell local goods.

If permitted, explore nearby areas and observe the cultural differences across the border. Return to Imphal by evening.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Silchar, a peaceful town in Assam and an important gateway to Mizoram. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey.

After breakfast, drive through scenic hills and forests to reach Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore the local markets and enjoy the calm hill-town atmosphere.

After breakfast, begin your Aizawl sightseeing tour. Visit Reiek Heritage Village, offering stunning hill views and insight into traditional Mizo life. Continue to Solomon’s Temple, a peaceful religious landmark, and the Mizoram State Museum, showcasing the state’s culture, costumes, and history.

Evening free for leisure.

Overnight stay: Aizawl

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Aizawl Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of Northeast India’s culture, landscapes, and people.
