Today we enjoy an excursion to Baratang Island (Subject to operation) The island which has dense mangrove forests and rich diversified fauna. We visit Mud volcano - India’s only active Mud Volcano. It is formed by gases and liquids excreted by the earth’s interior. There’s no lava spewed out, but mud in a semi-solid state comes out of the volcano. Later we enjoy a boat ride through the mangrove reserves to the wonderful Limestone caves, to explore stalagmite and stalactite formations which were formed millions of years ago due to the slow deposition of lime on the earth's surface.
Later we continue our journey to Rangat.
Today we proceed towards Diglipur, the largest town in North Andaman. En route, we visit Karmatang Beach, a pristine and lesser-known beach known for being a turtle nesting ground. Surrounded by forests and calm seas, the beach offers a tranquil break on our long drive. Later we continue our scenic drive to reach Diglipur, the largest town in North Andaman.
Today we explore some offbeat natural wonders of North Andaman. We begin with a visit to Alfred Caves, a fascinating cluster of 41 limestone caves, known for their narrow passages and natural beauty. Later, we visit Jal Tikry Mud Volcanoes, a rare geological phenomenon found only in this part of the Andaman Islands.
Today we proceed to visit Ross & Smith Islands – a beautiful white sandy beach connected by a sandbar. Later, we explore Kalipur Beach – known for its volcanic grey sand and turtle nesting. In the evening, we proceed from Diglipur to Rangat, enjoying scenic landscapes of North and Middle Andaman.
Today we visit we visit Dhani Nallah Mangrove Walkway – a serene boardwalk surrounded by dense mangrove forests offering a peaceful stroll and a chance to witness rich birdlife. Further, we proceed to Morice Dera Beach – famous for its volcanic twin rock formations and ideal sunset views. Later we proceed to Port Blair.
Today we explore the serene coastal beauty of Port Blair. We begin our day with a visit to Corbyn’s Cove Beach – a picturesque stretch of white sand fringed with coconut palms. It’s the perfect spot to relax, click photos, and enjoy the cool sea breeze.
Later, we proceed to Chidiya Tapu - popularly known as the Sunset Point of Andaman. Surrounded by lush green mangroves and forested hills, this tranquil beach offers a peaceful vibe and is home to a variety of native bird species. It’s the ideal place to unwind and witness a mesmerizing sunset over the Bay of Bengal.
